Joshua Fitchet

Musketeer in Sir Allen Apsley's Regiment of Foote

Joshua was born in Alton, Hampshire, his parents died of the plague when he was aged 12, he married at the age of 19, and his wife quickly bore him 6 children, 3 of which died of disease. His small farm gave him a meagre living, so he took an apprenticeship with a wainwright, early in his youth.
